The Sky is Falling… The Sky is Falling…

For some reason,a couple of weeks ago, I found myself listening to an in-depth report on the dismal state of our economy.  Actually, this report went well beyond our economy, it was talking about the whole world in deep trouble.

Now… being a Law of Attraction Life Coach, I generally keep up on current events, but I do not spend my time listening to the endless doom and gloom reports that depress and scare everyone.

I know that the world is better served by my energy being positive and centered and healthy.

If you think of the world energy as being on a teeter totter, with negative on one side and positive on the other, there is a whole lot on the negative side… we need to have much more on the positive side.

Anyway, I allowed myself to follow along with the dismal predictions and actually found myself feeling scared….

What… me?… scared?   Yes.  Remember, I am the woman who just left the security of a union job with 18 years seniority and full benefits to strike out on my own, relying on my own resourcefulness to create my livelihood.

• Oh my God/dess… what have I done?
• The world is falling apart… Did I make a mistake?
• Should I try to get another job for security?
• Will we lose our investments?
• Will we be OK in our golden years?
• Will we lose our home?
• Will people want what I offer?
• What was I thinking????

Crazy eh?
Now, I am pretty practiced at keeping my energy light and positive and progressive.
So I figured if I can slide into the doom and gloom energy of what is going on… which… by the way, I don’t have any control over… I know many of you are feeling the same fear.

I found myself thinking of all the things I could ‘go after’ to put some security in place.

• Who I could phone to try to set up some opportunities to generate income…
• to feel safe for the future…
• I felt worried as I scrambled to look for safety from the big, bad, scarey world.

Wait a minute… Stop… this feels bad… I don’t like this feeling.
I took a deep breath.  This is where walking the talk comes into play…

• I don’t want to feel scared and frantic about my future.
• I do want to trust the unlimited abundance in the world.
• I see evidence of positive progress and abundance all around me.
• I am choosing to take my focus off of what is wrong in the world and put it on what is right and growing and getting better.
• I intend to live my life on the light side of energy.

So, that morning, I decided that:

• I will only make plans and look for opportunities for my business in a spirit of abundance and expansion.
• I will not make any decisions or take any actions based on a perspective of fear.
• and that is that.

Nothing would be served in this whole world if I operate from a place of fear and lack and worry.

• The universe needs my positive energy…
• The universe needs your positive energy too…
